What: March WOW Meeting

Our next meeting is this Saturday, March 8th at the Northmont Library in Englewood from 9:30 to noon.  Club members Brian Aycock and Gary Terborg will be presenting.

 

Brian will give a short discussion on his Two Trees laser engraver which can be purchased on Amazon for around $170.  As a total novice, Brian will discuss his experience with this laser, from purchase and set up, to software and production.  Be prepared for the good, the bad and the ugly.  This is your chance to learn from Brian’s experience if you have ever considered buying a low end laser and wondered if it really works as advertised. 

 

Gary will demonstrate metal leafing which got a lot of interest at our January meeting.  Gary will again bring his gold leaf project as an example but will demonstrate copper leafing (same process) and show a couple of patina techniques.
